2. How many drivers does the JD3 have? What is the included cable?

[Driver configuration]

The JH3 features a large 13.6mm bass dynamic driver that is the same size as that of a flagship dynamic driver IEM. The newly designed magnetic structure allows magnetic flux to increase by a significant 20% - resulting in lush, full mids and potently dynamic bass.

The JH3’s meticulously designed internal structure features 2 exclusively customized BA drivers. These BA drivers are placed closer to the opening of the sound tube for less treble loss. Overall, thanks to its design, not only do the JJH3’s 2 BA drivers sound transparent, they also work perfectly with the bass dynamic driver for a cohesive sound, without disjointed treble and mids.

[Included cable]

The JH3 includes a 4 strands of 120 wires each high-purity monocrystalline copper cable. With interchangeable 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, it is compatible with Bluetooth ear hooks like the FiiO UTWS5.

3.What is the sound tuning style of the JH3? What type of music is it suitable for? And what are the sound differences compared to the FH1s?

The 2 treble balanced armature drivers used lead to superior treble resolution and expansion. The extended and robust bass comes with large dynamics, grand soundstage, and intensive vocals, helping to perfectly handle different music styles, including pop music and classical music.

Compared to the FH1s, both of them have similar bass performances. While the mids of the JH3 are more concentrated with higher density and front vocals, and its treble performance penetrates further than that of the FH1s.

4. What are the accessories? Is the cable interchangeable?

[Accessories included]

4 strands of 120 wires monocrystalline copper cable*1,

Carrying case*1,

Balanced ear tips*3 pairs (SML)

Bass ear tips*3 pairs (SML)

Foam ear tips*1 pair (M)

Instruction manual*1

*Balanced ear tip M size ear tips are pre-installed at the factory.

[What are the differences between different ear tips?]

1. Red and black ear tips: bass ear tips, which can improve the bass sense.

2. Translucent black ear tips: balanced ear tips, actual listening experience may vary from users.

3. Memory foam ear tip: more fitting for ear canals with better sound insulation and noise cancellation effects.

[How to choose suitable ear tips]

The external size of the sound tube is 6.0mm, so it is suggested to choose ear tips with an inner diameter between 4 to 5mm.

[Cable]

The cable of theJH3 is detachable, so it is compatible with FiiO's cable series with detachable 0.78 connectors, including the LC-RE Pro, UTWS5, and UTWS3.

5. How to exchange the earphone cable for the JH3? What are the differences between the FH1s and JH3?

First, a standard cable with 0.78mm 2-pin connectors is a must. When attaching or detaching the cable, remember to keep the earphone unit and the cable aligned. Blue is for the left side while red is for the right.

6. Why not use an MMCX connector?

There are many MMCX-connector earphone cables. However, expanded MMCX connectors are required for better reliability, which are more expensive. In contrast, 2-pin connector cables are fewer on the market, but they have cheaper costs. Some custom earphones usually feature 2-pin connectors due to special resin material used. We have to control the cost of the JH3, so we give up the MMCX connector.

7. What's the material of JH3?

The JH3 is choosing- aluminum alloy as the construction material- this aluminum alloy is carefully shaped with a 5-axis CNC machine, carefully hand polished, and goes through many other manufacturing processes used on high-end products to give it a pristine mirror-like finish, each “stripe” of light and shadow clearly showcased. Finally, PVD coating is also applied to the surface of the JH3 which not only increases the rigidity of the IEMs, but also allows that mirror-like finish and stripes to further shine and last longer against wear and tear.
