2. What can be done if the JW1 cannot be powered on or one of the earbuds has no output?

1.Fail to find the device, no response, can not be powered on:
a. Make sure both the charging case and earbuds have enough power. The indicator will be on when pull out the charging case and when the earbuds are turned on.  If not, please charge it on time;
b. Use alcohol pads to clean the metal contacts in the earbuds and charging case.
c. The earbuds and indicator will be powered off automatically if there is no connection for more than five minutes.You can long touch the touch button for 5s to power on the earbuds.
2. One of the earbuds has no output:
If you encounter this problem, the below steps may help:
a. Make sure both the charging case and earbuds have enough power.  If it is low power, please charge it on time.
b. Check whether the earbud with no sound is powered off, and whether the earbud can be powered on after touching the touch button for 5s.
c.The left and right earbuds may not connect properly. Please try to push the left and right earbuds into the charging case and turn them  off. Pull out the charging case after 2 seconds and then take out the earbuds.
3.How to connect to a new device when JW1 keeps connecting to the old device automatically after powering on:
Turn on the Bluetooth switch of the old device and clear the Bluetooth pairing of JW1. At this time JW1 will be disconnected from the old device. And you could pair the new device with JW1 now.

3. How to connect the JW1 to mobile phone? Is there a tone?

Take mobile phones as an example. When the JW1 first starts pairing with a mobile phone, it needs to enter the pairing state.  The white and green indicator light will flash alternately and the earbuds will remind 'Pairing'. Enable the Bluetooth function on the mobile phone and search for 'JadeAudio JW1' to connect them. When the earbuds remind 'connected', the JW1 connects to the mobile phone successfully.

4. Instructions for Touch Buttons on the Two Units

JW1 has no physical buttons, only one touch button.The following is the instruction for touch buttons on the two units.

5.Introduction to the battery life, charging case and indicator lights of JW1

1.Battery life
a. Earbud battery life for single use is about 6 hours. Ear units can be charged 2 times with fully charged charging case, and in total of about 18 hours.
b. Battery: Earbuds 65mAh; Charging case 250mAh
c. Push the JW1 into the charging case and it will automatically turn off and enter the charging state with the green indicator light on the charging case turning on.
d. Indicator Light of Earbuds and charging case:

Note: The green indicator light in the charging case will be continuously on when the JW1 is nearly fully charged before turning off.

2.The charging case is out of power after a short time of use?
When the earbuds are put into the charging case, the charging case will also consume power, and the power will be lost. Even if the earbuds in the charging case are not used, the charging case will theoretically run out of power in 3 months. So it is recommended to charge the charging case in a while when you don't use the JW1 for a long time to avoid power loss.
3.Why is the battery level of the two earbuds having difference?
There is a certain tolerance in the battery level of the left and right earbuds in the factory out. In addition, during usage, due to the battery capacity and charging speed of the left and right earbuds have some tolerance, so it is normal that the battery level of the left and right earbuds is different.

6. What is the water resistance of JW1?

The JW1 is water-resistant design, which can protect against water splashes and sweat from daily use. At the same time, due to the corrosive nature of sweat,  please dry the charging contacts if there is any accumulation of sweat before putting them into the charging case.

7. Hot-spot Q&A of JW1

1.The output of JW1 keeps stuttering?

a. When meeting sound stutter problem, please switch the network of the mobile phone to 5G Wifi or local local network signal in order to avoid 2.4G interference and confirm whether it is improved.
b. Avoid metal covering or wall blocking between mobile phone and JW1.
c. If the sound stutter problem remains, you can try to put the earbuds back to the charging case and take out for reconnection in order to restore normal Bluetooth audio transmission.

2.No sound when making phone call?

For some mobile phone systems, you need to manually switch to Bluetooth mode for the first time in order to use JW1 as a calling device.

3.The output volume of JW1 is too low?

For Android devices, please go to Settings->About phone, and continuously tap the "Build number" 7 times. Go back to Settings->System->Developer options menu to turn off the"Disable absolute volume". Disconnect and reconnect the two devices through Bluetooth.

4.The JW1 could not be charged or have no reaction?

1.Make sure that the charging case has enough power;
2.Make sure that the charging contacts of the earbuds and charging case contact normally;
3.Use alcohol pads or wipe to clean the charging contacts of the earbuds and charging case;

5. The charging case's shell is easily scratched?

The charging case's shell is made of transparent PC so scratches are easier to show up. The protective bag will come with the JW1 and you could use it for protecting the JW1.

6.What is the model name of the Bluetooth chip?

The Bluetooth chip in JW1 is Bluetrum B5616A3.
